More than 100 researchers from various universities of The plenary session included Dr. Natalya Vladimirovna Ufimtseva, professor of the laboratory of psycholinguistics and the theory of communication at the Institute  of Linguistics  in the Russian  Academy   of Sciences who made a report on the new trends of psycholinguistic research of language consciousness. Dr. Ekaterina Nazarovna Romanova, director of the Centre of Ethnology at the Institute  of Humanities  in the Academy  of Sciences  of the Sakha  Republic   (Yakutia) made a presentation on world images and the language of traditional culture. Dr. Mikhail Matveyevich Fomin, Professor of the Sakha State University discussed the methodological basis of teaching foreign languages in policultural and multilungual environment. Finally, Rane Willeslev, Professor at the Centre of Social Anthropology, Archeology and Linguistics of the University  of Arhus  (Denmark  ) spoke about the language and spiritual knowledge of the Ykaghirs.
On the workshops the papers on comparative research of the languages of the Northern people, on ethnic and cultural peculiarities of the world image of the Evenks, Evens, Yukagirs and the Sakha, on language policy in the Sakha  Republic   (Yakutia) were discussed. Dr. Joelle Robert-Lamblin (France  , National Centre of Scientific Research) made a presentation on the influence of the climate change on the autochthonous culture. 
Within the framework of the conference, a seminar on psycholinguistics and the contemporary problems of language consciousness was held.
