A field-based training course for graduate/post-doc level snow scientists on state-of-the-art snow measurement techniques will take place at Col du Lautaret, France from February 16th through the 22nd. The focus topic for the year is "Snow in a changing climate, impact on humans and nature".

Call for proposals for the Arctic week 2019 in Paris. The Arctic week 2019 will take place from December 9 to 13 at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris. The event will be chaired by Ségolène Royal, ambassador for the poles.

A tradition of UArctic Rectors' Forums is for the participating students to publish a Student Declaration, outlining their vision and highlighting key issues for the assembled rectors and UArctic's leadership. The Declaration from the 2019 meeting at Trent University follows.



A webinar about the Nordic Master programme and application round for 2019 will take place on Thursday 12 September 2019 at 13.00-14.30 EEST (Finnish time). The webinar will be held in English.
