"Sámi Educational History in a Comparative International Perspective" establishes an overview of Sámi education in a historical and internationally comparative perspective and examines indigenous educational history around the world, ranging from Asia to Oceania to Sápmi and the Americas.


The purpose of the panel is to bring together top policymakers (Governors of the Russian Arctic regions) and representatives of science and expert community to discuss current and future socioeconomic complexity and transformation in the rapidly changing Russian Arctic.
