About UArctic: UArctic is a collaborative network of universities, colleges, research institutes, and other organizations focused on education and research in and about the Arctic. The intern will be based at the UArctic Thematic Networks Leadership Office at the University of Oulu, Finland.
Internship Details:
- Duration: 4 months, starting as soon as possible.
- Location: University of Oulu, Finland.
- Salary: 1,466€ per month, plus 500€ for travel expenses.
- Support: The internship is supported by the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science (pending approval of the Danish finance act for 2025).

Who Can Apply? This internship is open to students or recent graduates (within one year) from UArctic’s north2north member institutions in the Kingdom of Denmark, Faroe Islands, and Greenland.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in website development and design.
- Proficiency in ICT and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
- Experience in event organization and promotion.
- Ability to work in an international and intercultural environment.
- Photography skills are an asset.
- Knowledge of Arctic issues is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
What You’ll Do:
- Renew and update Thematic Networks webpages.
- Publish news and updates on Thematic Networks websites.
- Provide support to the Thematic Networks Office in daily operations.
Additional Information:
- Applicants are responsible for arranging their own housing and must have valid travel insurance for the duration of the internship.
- Supervision and training will be provided to help you acquire new skills and techniques.
