The recipients of the Scottish Government’s Arctic Connections Fund have been announced. This year 9 projects received funding to support collaboration with Arctic partners.

PEOPLE 2023 International Conference was successfully held on August 7-11 in Montreal, Canada and online. The conference hosted 210 presentations from diverse disciplines from 20 countries and 42 technical sessions in 21 themes.

Glen Coutts, professor of applied visual arts education at the University of Lapland, and vice-lead of the Thematic Network on Arctic Sustainable Arts and Design (ASAD) has been re-elected as president of the International Society for Education through Art (InSEA) for a two-year term of 2023–2025.
